Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk, part of Mérieux NutriSciences group, is the Global Centre of Excellence for Environmental Footprinting. Established in 1999 by Hans Blonk, we have been pioneering environmental footprinting and LCA in the agri-food sector for over 25 years. Our mission? To enable a sustainable, healthy future for our planet. Our team includes top experts in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), environmental footprinting, crop management, animal production systems, data science, software development, and sustainability research.

Together with our clients, we transform insight into action, helping to shape a sustainable agri-food system that benefits future generations. We believe in transparency, teamwork, and integrity, delivering only honest, science-based solutions to sustainability frontrunners.

*Currently, we are based in Gouda, but our office is moving to Rotterdam in a few months.

Your Role

As HR Business Partner, you will support the HR and recruitment efforts at Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk. Your focus will be on attracting and onboarding new talent while ensuring a positive employee experience. You will work closely with team members and leadership to create a great place to work, where people feel engaged and supported.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support and coach team leads and managers on HR topics and HR conversations.

  • Execute and manage absenteeism prevention and absenteeism policies.

  • Help maintain and improve HR policies and processes.

  • Proactive recruitment from job postings to interviews and hiring.

  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.

  • Assist in organizing training and development initiatives.

  • Be a point of contact for HR-related questions and employee well-being.

  • Support employer branding efforts to attract top talent.

  • Co-implementation of HR & Recruitment strategy.

  • Collaborate with HR Shared Service Centre and report to HR Director.

What you bring

  • Bachelor degree and several years of experience in HR & Recruitment.

  • Enthusiasm for people and creating a positive work environment.

  • Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch.

  • A proactive, hands-on mentality and organizational skills.

  • A passion for sustainability and making a positive impact.

  • Fluency in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
