About the role

As a Senior Consultant at Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk, you will be at the forefront of agri-food sustainability, delivering robust LCA studies and sustainability insights that drive meaningful change. Your expertise enables our clients to make informed decisions, and your commercial mindset helps grow our impact across the sector.  

Your main responsibilities 

1. Lead and deliver LCA projects from start to finish: Oversee and execute Life Cycle Assessments, ensuring methodological rigor and actionable recommendations for clients in the agri-food sector. 

2. Drive client engagement and acquisition: Build strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and lead content-driven sales - translating client needs into winning proposals and new projects. 

3. Foster internal knowledge development and sharing: Maintain up-to-date expertise in LCA and agri-food sustainability; share knowledge through mentoring, trainings, and leading internal working groups. 

4. Ensure quality and consistency: Review project deliverables across the team, maintain high standards in methodology, and support continuous improvement of Blonk’s services and tools. 

5. Promote Blonk’s expertise: Represent Blonk at industry and scientific events, publish thought leadership pieces, and contribute to our visibility as a sector leader. 

About you

• You have 5+ years of conducting and interpreting LCAs in relevant LCA software, ideally in agri-food sector   

• Skilled communicator with experience in client engagement and/or consultative sales. 

• You have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects, while ensuring quality and timely results. 

• Collaborative and supportive team member, able to mentor, share knowledge, and foster best practices. 

• Eager to stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and new developments in agri-food sustainability and LCA. 

You will get extra points if: 

• You are fluent in other languages apart from English 

• You are familiar with SimaPro and/or LCA data analysis techniques

5. Contract for 32-40 hours per week.
